New to SEO? An excellent starting place is Google’s “Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide.” This is a free PDF download that covers basic tips that Google provides to its own employees on how to get listed.

The guide includes information on SEO basics, Improving site structure, optimising content, dealing with crawlers, SEO for mobile phones and promotions and analysis.
